It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the peak baggers, are what's still available for a team that has won it all.

That it took up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

It's challenging for their batsmen to hold a record if not provided the possibility.

The question of whether this latest epic knock topped that previous effort can be debated.

Many contend the argument supporting the pressure of a final. Some might respond with the test that comes when confronting a historic chase and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What is certain is this century was much more difficult to see coming.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this knock came after six matches in India over the past few weeks in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"For those following me in the nets, it was a disappointing period because it seemed my form was missing at all," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you enter the playing area, your fighting spirit take over and you simply focus on the competition."

Healy's competitiveness has always been her major advantage - and an invaluable trait in replacing famous previous leader Meg Lanning.

She was tormented by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, fallen to the young fast bowler in every game, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's spark.

A single was taken off Gaud's first delivery and after that the right-hander was in motion.

"A chance to take the field and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

When she was removed the team needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

These statements will be the last Australia's opponents at this championship want to hear.

During the last week a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy missed because of torn tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.
