The country's energy systems have faced escalating strikes in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in blackouts in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has increased attacks on energy facilities over recent weeks, while the country's government has demanded "real steps" from allies to exert influence on Russia.
